   In the same type, there is also the " Nuevasync " service , which gives Contacts AND calendar in mode Push with the iPhone / iPod Touch, by using the data of a count GMAIL.

   Personally I use Plaxo (http://plaxo.com) to stock my contacts.
   And to synchronise Plaxo with my iPhone, I use NuevaSync (https://nuevasync.com) which is an interface PlaxoMicrosoft Exchange. I use so the " Push " service  of synchronisation of contacts included into the iPhone.

   I would just point out that this solution is not an alternative in what is introduced in this post because during the first synchronisation all contacts recorded in the iPhone are abolished. It has therefore to be the book Plaxo which is supplied well.

   I used Funambol for months but the syncho became often unavailable. I passed to Plaxo (who uses Funambol in pence software layer) with the synchro via nuevasync.
   This last solution is more fluid and more efficient

   @ipfix: Personally I have jmais had of probleme with Funambol, but it is necessary to say that I serves me that for my monthly maintenance of my contacts

   Some time I would make a test of Plaxo!
