I spoke to you about it in the ticket of Sunday some days ago indeed, SFR will allow to reimburse 460 on the purchase of an iPhone 3G, but on some conditions
By doing researches (for me) on this subject that I fell on this ticket of PCIMPACT: SFR Reimburses you 460 for the purchase of an iPhone 3. Having nothing to top up or to change, me makes you a summary:
The iPhone 3G is exclusive rights Orange in France, many people fast pointed out that some fixed rates SFR (Illimythics 3G + notably) is particularly interesting in comparison with fixed rates Orange for iPhone.
And SFR understood ( ) well him We confirm all this ( ) Call the customer service of SFR by typing 900. Try then to speak to an adviser (key 7 if everything takes place well). Once this online adviser, you will have to have in mind the one and only thing: stress fact to want to cancel your fixed rate to go to Orange, for the simple reason that you wish the iPhone absolutely 3G ( ) your adviser will send you then to service termination. This last will offer you then the solution described above (not without reminding you that there are alternatives in the iPhone 3G), that is to say:
According to the length of your new subscription (12 or 24 months), you will accept from part of SFR a 100- refund or from 460 . ( ) Orange says SFR not not etre informed ( ), for his/her part, confirms this offer, but wanted to bring some precision: There is not offer of refund as the iPhone. We, they have a policy of commercial gestures, which is made, iPhone or not besides, and that registers in time. But this depends a lot of different criteria. It is not something that is automatically offered.
Here I come back on Paris before 3 weeks, by hoping that this offer works always, otherwise one decides on it I will go to Orange
Good morning,
I have just read your ticket because I am me even in search of a solution to adapt an iPhone 3G on my fixed rate such a brilliant SFR.
I have not tried your solution yet but I tell myself why being said to not This, the fault (and she is of size) it is that argument: I cancel to go to Orange , has weight only if the period of initial commitment (12 or 24 months) was crossed. To cancel his contract before the end of this period displays the consumer to pay envisaged monthly instalments (the sum of the fixed rate): SFR is not therefore financially losing (excepted on except - false and other one surcharged numbers) if commercial gesture is cancelled in these conditions and they will not therefore offer .
On the contrary, SFR has no economic argument to prevent us from leaving, when the period of commitment is ended And it is there that it becomes logical to offer the refund of a bare iPhone bought at the rival.
Now, SFR is not stupid and arranges especially so that we are all in period of perpetual engement. How? Simply there renouvellant contract in every change of motive. The temptation of a new product as well as the life of the portables with tendency to go down, allow to support the consumer in this system.
A solution however seems to stand out on the horizon: a law is under way of adoption (my information is not completely fraiches), which would prevent the operators of telephony from holding captives their clients in that way, notably by imposing a length maximum of commitment of 12 months (and it was even a matter of 6 months).
Anyhow, I want connaitre the fine word of history and to know if solution works.
Thank you,
Good courage.
P.
